Disclosures
Important information about how Ascend Capital Finance lends, advertises, and protects your information.
Ascend Capital Finance provides short-term, business-purpose commercial bridge financing. The following disclosures apply to your use of this website and to any financing relationship with us. They are provided for transparency and do not modify the terms of any executed agreement.
Business & commercial purpose only
Ascend Capital Finance provides short-term financing for business and commercial purposes only. Loan proceeds must be used primarily for business or commercial purposes and may not be used for personal, family, or household purposes. We do not offer consumer mortgages, home-purchase or home-improvement loans, or any consumer-purpose credit. Loans are made to business entities and are secured by commercial, investment, or non-owner-occupied residential real estate. Whether financing is business purpose is determined by the actual use of proceeds, which Ascend verifies as part of underwriting.
Informational only, not a commitment to lend
The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute an offer, solicitation, commitment, or advice to lend, or an offer to enter into any transaction. All loans are subject to credit review, underwriting, property valuation, title, and final approval. Rates, terms, and program availability may change without notice.
State licensing
Ascend Capital Finance makes business-purpose loans in California. Licensing information is available on request.
Fair lending
Ascend Capital Finance is an Equal Opportunity Lender. We do not discriminate against any applicant on any basis prohibited by the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) or applicable state law, including race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract), or because all or part of the applicant’s income derives from a public assistance program.
California commercial financing disclosures
For certain commercial financing transactions, California law may require providers to deliver standardized cost disclosures at or before consummation. Where applicable, Ascend Capital Finance provides these disclosures in accordance with the California Commercial Financing Disclosure regulations administered by the DFPI.
Privacy (GLBA & CCPA/CPRA)
We handle personal information in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and limit the use and disclosure of their personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
